On December 18 some of the world’s finest golfers will tee off for the 2008 SA Open at the Pearl Valley Golf Estates.

Ernie Els, Retief Goosen, Trevor Immelman, defending champion James Kingston, Darren Clarke, Lee Westwood, Henrik Stenson and Tim Clark make this year’s line-up one of the strongest ever gathered for the event.

The ticket gives the winner entry to the SA Open, as well as access to the VIP lounge situated on the 18th Green, including catering with VIP hostesses and bar service throughout the day.

  • Bell's Extra Special Old Scotch Whisky plans to donate R1-million to the South African Disabled Golf Association when the first pro golfer hits a hole-in-one on the par 3, 15th hole at the South African Open Championship, 18–21 December 2008 at Pearl Valley Golf Estates.

    1. Guess the pro golfer who you think could hit a hole-in-one on the par 3, 15th hole, on the 3rd or 4th day of the South African Open Championship.
    2. Simply SMS your ID number and the name of the golfer to 33921 (eg. 7910245161085 Ernie Els). Each SMS costs R1.50.
    3. You will then stand the chance of winning a trip, worth R20 000, in the Bell’s Helicopter to Pearl Valley Golf Estates in January for an extra special round of golf with three of your friends.
