The Warriors beat the Dolphins by 13 runs in a tight finish to their MTN40 match at Kingsmead, Durban on Friday night.

A remarkable feature was the performance of the two No. 8 batsmen with Craig Thyssen hitting 56 off 39 balls with five fours and two sixes for the Warriors and David Miller making 33 off 14 balls with three fours and two sixes for the Dolphins.

Thyssen's unbeaten 56 was top score for the Warriors while Imraan Khan and Andrew Hall both made half-centuries for the Dolphins.

Lonwabo Tsotsobe broke the back of the Dolphins' innings, taking four of the first five wickets to fall to finish with the outstanding figures of 4/27 in his eight overs.
