Cricket South Africa has granted Chevrolet Warriors spin bowler Robbie Peterson permission to make a delayed start to South Africa’s three-Test tour of India.

The Proteas Castle Test squad will leave for the sub-continent on Friday but Peterson has been given permission to delay his departure until next Tuesday for personal reasons.

Peterson is one of three members of the Castle Test squad who will be available to play in Wednesday’s MTN Domestic Championship final.

His team, the Chevrolet Warriors, have already qualified and Cricket South Africa will also release JP Duminy and Charl Langeveldt, both of the Nashua Cape Cobras, should their franchise qualify for the final.
