Early morning rain delayed the final day of the fourth npower Test between England and West Indies at Chester-le-Street.
With light rain in the air until minutes before the scheduled 11am start time, umpires Aleem Dar and Billy Bowden were forced to wait to inspect the playing area. However, the officials were hopeful of checking the pitch as soon as possible. West Indies resume on 83 for three, 30 runs behind, meaning England need to get wickets quickly to push for a third straight win and a 3-0 series success. Fixtures *SA Times
