Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene has won the toss and elected to bat first in his team's Cricket World Cup Group B match against Bermuda at the Queen's Park Oval.
Jayawardene's team - who won the 1996 World Cup - are considered by many as serious title contenders and they will be hoping to get their 2007 CWC campaign off to a cracking start against Bermuda, who have heavyweight spinner Dwayne Leverock in their ranks.
