Pakistan have named Shoaib Akhtar and Younis Khan in a 15-man squad for their one-day international tour of Scotland early next month.
Paceman Shoaib last played an ODI for his country against England in Nottingham last September, and missed the World Cup through injury. The experienced Younis returns after opting out of the squad for a three-match series against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi due to his county commitments with Yorkshire in England. Seamer Najaf Shah, batsman Mohammad Hafeez and off-spinner Abdul Rehman have all been dropped after being part of the Dubai series. Pakistan play hosts Scotland in Edinburgh on July 1, followed by the Friendship Cup ODI against India in Glasgow on July 3.
