The 'Oval' is the most famous ground in the West Indies and is considered the mecca of cricket in the region. The stadium has been redeveloped for the tournament and will host the final on April 28. The pitch is generally fast and bouncy and favours the batsman. In fact, the first-ever triple century was scored at the ground by Tim Tarilton back in 1920. The Oval also played host to the first England touring side in 1895, the first combined West Indies side against MCC in 1910-11 and the West Indies' first Test in 1930.
