Aussie Katherine Hull fired a one-under par 71 in the second round on Friday to maintain her lead at the season-ending LPGA ADT Championship.

The 26-year-old Hull, of Brisbane, leads Angela Stanford by one stroke at the Trump International Golf Club.

"I'm really happy with today," Hull said. "Obviously, no bogies, so yeah, very happy with the way I kind of made the up and down on 18 and finished off."

Former World number one Annika Sorenstam missed the cut after stumbling to a 75. Sorenstam announced earlier this year that 2008 is her final year on the LPGA.

The field was trimmed to 16 players after Friday's round, with Australian Karrie Webb locking up the final spot with a two-day total of three-over 147.

World number one Lorena Ochoa, the defending champion, also did not make the cut as she finished tied with Sorenstam after 36 holes.

Hull, who led after the first round, is at five-under 139 overall as she battles with the others for the one million dollar first place prize.

Hull posted a bogey-free round with just one birdie on the 15th hole.

Stanford is second after a round of 67. Stanford birdied four of the first 11 holes before bogeying number 13. She closed strong with a pair of birdies over the final four holes.

There is a three-way tie for third place between Paula Creamer, Christina Kim and South Korean In-Kyung Kim — all three strokes off the lead.

England's Karen Stupples barely made the cut, finishing 15th after a round of 75 on Friday to leave her two-over for the tournament.
