South Korea's Shin Jiyai fired a five-under par 67 on Saturday to stretch her lead to four strokes after the third round of the two million-dollar Wegmans LPGA.

Shin birdied five of the last nine holes to finish 54 holes on 16-under par 200, four strokes ahead of American Morgan Pressel, who had pulled within a stroke after the morning conclusion of the storm-disrupted second round.

American Stacy Lewis was third on 205 after a third-round 70 with Britain's Lindsey Wright and Germany's Sandra Gal another stroke behind and Korean Yoo Sun Young in sixth on 207.

LPGA star rookie Shin, 21, completed a 68 on Friday to stand on a 36-hole record 11-under par 133, but two morning birdies by Pressel in her final five holes allowed her to close the gap entering the afternoon third round.

Shin seeks her fifth triumph in 11 months, having won the Women's British Open last August, the Mizuno Classic and season-ending ADT Championship last year and the HSBC Women's Championship in Singapore in March.

Cheyenne Woods, the 18-year-old niece of men's golf superstar Tiger Woods, missed the cut after completing a second-round 74. The amateur finished at five-over 149 for 36 holes, four strokes off the cut line, in an event she entered by way of a sponsor exemption.
