South Africa's Retief Goosen, who is looking for his second win of 2009, is tied with two Americans for the lead after the third round of the $7.5-million Deutsche Bank Championship on Sunday.

Goosen shot a three-under 68 to move to 13-under 200 and a share of the overall lead with Steve Stricker (65) and Sean O'Hair (70).

"I'm happy to be on top of the leaderboard, and I hope for a good tomorrow and see where we stand," Goosen said.

The crowded leaderboard features nine players within three shots of the leaders, including Ireland's Padraig Harrington (67) and Aussie John Senden (70).

Goosen had a chance to take sole possession of first place but his approach at the par-five 18 caught the bunker and he had to settle for a par.

Harrington is in a three-way tie at 12-under 201 with Rancho Cucamonga's Kevin Na (66) and Scott Verplank (68).

Americans Jerry Kelly (67) and Kevin Sutherland (69) are two shots back of the leaders at 11-under 202.

Harrington has been drawing big crowds all week.

"There's a saying, 'There's five million people in Ireland and 40-million in the States,' and I think those 40-million people live in Boston," Harrington said.

"There's great support here. When you get people supporting you, you do feed off it and try to go with it, and it's certainly helped me over the last three days."

Tiger Woods, frustrated by poor putting, failed to mount a charge by shooting a one-over 72. He is nine shots behind Goosen.

Woods, who hit his first tee shot into the trees Sunday, would fall out of first place in the FedEx Cup standings if Stricker wins on Monday.

Like Goosen, O'Hair will be looking for his second victory of the year in Monday's final round. He nailed two birdies on his final three holes.

O'Hair is having one of the best tournament's of his season but said he felt nervous going into his Sunday round.

"I was feeling uncomfortable on the first tee. I haven't been playing well the past couple of weeks so it was a new feeling," he said. "I just tried to stay relaxed.

"I battled it out really good today," O'Hair said. "I came out this week and worked hard with my coach and got comfortable with my swing."

Stricker rolled in an eagle on the 18th hole to go with seven birdies.

"I maxed that one out, and it turned out good," Stricker said of the eagle. "I needed a day like this today to get back into it."
