Kenny Perry

Perry's 22nd season on the PGA Tour has been his best. In less than half a season, the Kentucky native matched his career high in wins with three, and they came in a brief span of just five starts. Competing in this Ryder Cup in his home state was Perry's main goal entering the season, and he hopes he can atone for a disappointing playoff loss to Mark Brooks in the 1996 PGA Championship at Valhalla.

Campbell is one of the best ball strikers on the US tour, whose length off the tee was cited by captain Paul Azinger as a factor in his selection as a captain's pick. The soft-spoken Texan should benefit from his appearances in the 2004 and '06 Ryder Cups, where he contributed 2 points in six matches.

After languishing in golf's hinterland, Stricker has the distinction of being named the US tour's comeback player of the year two years in a row, in 2006 and 2007. This year, Stricker has posted five top-10 finishes, including a tie for seventh at the Open Championship.
