Ryder Cup rookie sensation Anthony Kim is tipped as an amazing talent who will be one of the world's best players for years to come.
Kim partnered the world number two during America's successful Cup campaign against Europe last month and has been in outstanding form all season, breaking through with two victories on the US Tour and eight top 10s.
"Anthony is an amazing talent in the game and I think he is going to be one of our top players for a long time," the 38-year-old said in a telephone interview.
"I think he'll be a steady young player like we've seen in Adam Scott and Sergio Garcia.
"We've seen them play steadily and stay in the top 10 and continue to get better and I think Anthony Kim will continually be in the top 10 for many years to come and he will keep getting better and better and keep moving up."
The 23-year-old from Los Angeles played a crucial role as the United States won the Ryder Cup, including an
emotional victory over Garcia in the first match of the Sunday singles.
He also partnered Mickelson and it was clear from the start that there was a chemistry between the two Californians.
"He has no weaknesses in his game and he has a lot of guts, said Mickelson.
"He really knows how to close it out. He knows how to be a tough competitor and I certainly enjoyed being his partner at the Ryder Cup."
Kim, now ranked eighth in the world, plays next week in the HSBC Champions tournament in Shanghai, where Mickelson is the defending champion.
