  • Past champions (lifetime exemption)
  • US Open, Open and US PGA champions (over last 5 years)
  • Winners of Players' Championship (over last 3 years)
  • US Amateur champion and runner-up
  • British Amateur, US Public Links and US Mid-Amateur champions
  • First 16 in last year's Masters
  • First eight in last year's US Open
  • First four in last year's Open and US PGA
  • Top 30 on the 2009 US Tour money list, plus qualifiers for 2009 Tour Championship
  • US Tour full event winners since 2009 Masters
  • Top 50 on world ranking December 31 2009
  • Top 50 on world ranking a week before the Masters

    (Masters committee can also invite international players not otherwise qualified)
