Stormers captain Jean de Villiers says he will consider playing his rugby overseas after the British & Irish Lions series.
Many senior Springboks see the Lions series as a watershed in their playing careers and a significant exodus of players is expected after this season.
De Villiers' has been linked to Irish Magners League club Munster while it is also believed a French club was willing to pay R5.6-million a year to secure his services.
"My contract expires at the end of the year. I have always had an open mind about playing overseas at some stage. I will do that at some point in the future," De Villiers told Die Burger.
"At this stage my focus is to recover from my groin injury and to be ready for the series against the Lions. I will make a decision about my future after that."
