Tickets for England's eagerly awaited cricket tour of South Africa that runs from early November to the middle of January went on sale on Monday.

The tour consists of two Standard Bank International Pro20 fixtures, a five-match MTN ODI series and the four-match Castle Test series.

Tickets can be purchased at any branch of CompuTicket as well as at the various grounds hosting the matches.

Ticket prices for the Test matches are particularly affordable, ranging between R10 and R40 depending on the venue for basic admission for scholars per day and between R30 and R60 for adults. The more expensive tickets range from R54 to R80.

Tickets for the ODIs range from R75 to R260 depending on the quality of accommodation required and from R70 to R220 for the Pro20 matches.

Cricket South Africa (CSA) Chief Executive Gerald Majola said: "England have come off an Ashes victory over Australia and the Proteas have just completed their most successful season yet. This has set the stage for an icon tour of note.

"The Proteas will be looking for full public support to take them to victory in all forms of the game, so the public is urged to book early to ensure their seats at the matches.

"Many of the matches are in the school holidays with all the venues being family-friendly. Prices have been set at affordable rates and the Proteas will also be on hand from time-to-time to give autographs.

"CSA wishes Graeme Smith and the Proteas all the best. We are most confident that they will come out on top".
