There are periods when clubs are forced to play up to three games a week, while at the moment many managers are not happy at the long break from competitive soccer their players face.
Sono is hoping that this is something PSL CEO Trevor Phillips will address in the near future.
"We hope that sanity will prevail when Mr Trevor Philips reviews the PSL fixtures. My concern is that the beaks in between matches are too long," said 'The Troublemaker' on his column on the Cosmos website.
The Ezenkhosi boss shares the same concerns as Ajax manager Gordon Igesund ? that the forced break will lead to his players losing their momentum.
"Teams go without playing matches for weeks and this causes a problem because player?s fitness levels drop and their sharpness starts to decline. A balance between the international games and the local games must be reached in order to rectify the situation," said Sono.
