Bayern Munich's Lukas Podolski said on Monday he has brushed off media speculation over a possible transfer to Tottenham Hotspur or Juventus as he looks to fire Germany into the Euro 2008 final.
Podolski has scored three goals so far this tournament in a series of impressive performances as his side set up a semi-final clash against Turkey at Basel's St Jakob Stadium on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old - who created Germany's first goal against Portugal - says he is just concentrating on helping Germany back up last Thursday's 3-2 quarter-final win over Portugal with victory against the Turks to book their berth for Sunday's final in Vienna.
Having spent most of last season on Bayern's bench, Podolski criticised the Bundesliga champions in the German media last weekend and it remains to be seen with which club he will be with after the tournament.
"The last two years have not been easy," he said at Germany's Euro 2008 base here.
"At Munich, I didn't get too many games, but I resolved from Mallorca's training camp onwards (with Germany) to train and play as hard as possible and claw my way back into the team.
"Now I want to go to the final."
Ex-Germany boss Jurgen Klinsmann, who guided the national side to third place at the 2006 World Cup, will take over as Bayern boss on July 1, but Podolski says his only concern is reaching the Euro 2008 final.
He said: "I did talk to him (Klinsmann) but that was a long time before Euro 2008, since then I have had no contact with either him or Bayern Munich.
"And nothing else, which is written, screened or spoken about on the subject, is of any interest to me.
"I didn't set myself any targets here, I didn't think I would have clocked up three goals, but I am at the top of my game here and bursting with energy.
"My focus is purely on Euro 2008 and trying to win it."
