As South Africans, we need to take a positive view on this - let the rest of the world keep their negative perceptions, we need to be looking at how we are improving. As it says in the article, they are training 30 000 new police officers to be engaged before the world cup. Recent crime statistics consistently show lowering crime rates. Without doubt, additional measures will be taken pre-world cup.
