Brilliant
"); document.write("haha was brilliant by Wales! Poor AB's, the whole point of doing it was to return the challange, they starting to turn into a bunch of whiners.... Mickey Mouse"); document.write("
Quit whining boys!
"); document.write("Unreal....Nonu says that just standing there is antagonising them...buddy you guys are doing a war dance!!!!!!!
I think it's about time the world shows disdain for this idiotic action. After all why is every team forced to watch and respect the haka, when New Zealand refuse to show any respect for any other team.
Best they come up with another new tool of intimidation because going by the last 20 years of World Cup Rugby, New Zealand's haka certainly hasn't helped them with any silverware.

Oh and lets stop calling them the All Blacks, call them New Zealand.....apparently that also get them a bit uptight.. Simon"); document.write("
Absolutely Well Done To Wales
"); document.write("I think the time has come to s#### this rediculous challenge.Just look at the frenzied look on the faces and tongue pulling.A challenge requires a response and Wales sure as hell gave these idiots one.If you cant take it dont do it.We are trying to bring about world peace but even have to tolerate this aggression before a game begins.. James"); document.write("
the Haka
"); document.write("The Haka is a legitimate tradition and about respecting our indigenous culture. The world knows that South Africa don't know how to do that but NZ do and represent it through a dance. The issue with the Haka comes up with these Euro teams every year because they also lack an ethnic/indigenous culture within their individual countries. Their media are aware that critisizing the Haka hits a soft spot and since their rugby teams are #### they get pretty desperate.. Oliver"); document.write("
Haka
"); document.write("As far as I know the Hake is a Pacific Islanders thing that the indigenous people of New Zealand did. And seeing as the AB team is made up of mainly Pacific Islanders???
Hey whatever blows your skirt up. Greyman"); document.write("
Haka - GREAT Tradition
"); document.write("Lol there's no problem with the Haka, It's a GREAT tradition, but don't expect people to just stand and watch while you challenge then with no response! Reacting to the Haka like they did wasn't about dis-respecting the Haka, it was an acceptance of the challenge.. Mickey Mouse"); document.write("
The Haka
"); document.write("So... it's ok to do a war dance to one team .... and expect certain response... but the stare down ...was probably wales \"little war dance\" so alls fair in love and war...
Actually, just get on with the game..please!. Diane Du Toit"); document.write("
Haka response
"); document.write("I for one really enjoy the haka but too much is being made of it now. It is like the AB's feel it is theit God given right to dictate where and when it is done and also what is an acceptable response. That joes not stack up. It is part of the game, nothing more. Any side should be allowed the courtesy to respond as they see fit. If a team feels like looking the other way or mooning them during the haka. That's up to them. If you want a good laugh, look at the haka's from the 70's. They look like palookas doing the hokey-pokey or something. It is a bit of an ego trip now.. John"); document.write("
Haka
"); document.write("Yes it is okay to do a war dance and expect a certain response diane. If any other nation wants to do a dance then they should go crazy and it would be met with adknowledgement from our side because differing cultures should be respected.

Growing up in schools we learn the haka and perform it in situations like welcoming visitors to the school or important meetings and gatherings. As fierce as the haka looks, the fiercer it is the more respectful it is and the more it should be enjoyed. It's not life and death and all the things foreigners think it is or else we wouldn't do it to welcome people like the queen into the country. . Oliver"); document.write("
Oliver, good point, well made.
"); document.write("However, when the All Blacks are in Europe, they are guests, not hosts. By all means let your guests know what the correct etiquette is at home games but by the same token, behave like good guests when the hospitality is being extended to you. You'd not tell me how I should eat in my own home would you? What makes a host nation's response to the haka any different? The All Blacks are an awesome side and amazing to watch. Spitting the dummy about responses to the haka tarnishes their reputation bigtime!. John"); document.write("
"); document.write("Wales always try to f### with the Haka. Remember the last time that New Zealand was there they performed it in the change room!! Apparently that was done because the Welsh wanted to sing a 'retaliation song' afterward the Haka was done on the field (or something like that). The Haka is a sign of respect to the opposition, I wish the Welsh would get that (most people in SA certainly do!).

Clearly quite a few here don't understand what the Haka means - so please do learn something about the NZ/Pac islander cultures before critizing it. Getting rid of it would be like getting rid of the Springbok emblem. And OF COURSE the All Blacks should dictate how it's given - it's THEIR war dance! If you want to moon it in response, fine, but that would just be rude/Welsh. . Alistair "); document.write("
The Haka
"); document.write("Oliver agree with you regarding the tradition of the Haka, I feel the AB's wouldn't be the same without it. But to think that the AB's should be allowed to perform the Haka, which by it's nature has a psychological effect on both the AB's and opposition, and the opponents must just stand there and pick their noses is un-realistic. It's nothign about respecting the Haka, it's about gaining /countering a psychological effect.. L_M"); document.write("
Haka
"); document.write("Isn`t it strange that these same guys do not sing at all during playing of the national anthem in Maori ? In fact the camera caught Brad Thorne spitting on Saturday during playing of the anthem. . King without a Crown"); document.write("
Someone get Nonu a tissue
"); document.write("It is Wales and every other team's right to respond to the haka as they feel. Nobody is stopping them from performing it, so why is it that people feel that other teams must just stand there and take it? Besides, they didn't moon them they just took their challenge and stared them down. Funny enough I live in NZ and I can tell you first hand that for all the hissyfits people throw about the Haka nobody gives a damn about Maori culture as a whole; they only care about what they like. So Nonu...shut up and go back to wearing mascara. . Dumi"); document.write("
oliver you idiot
"); document.write("\"The issue with the Haka comes up with these Euro teams every year because they also lack an ethnic/indigenous culture within their individual countries\"!?!?!?
You've never been to Europe. More indigenous culture in any one town then in the whole of NZ. The Euros ARE the indigenous ethnic culture, tit, and have traditions going back thousands of years. If jumping around, drooling, leering and grunting(a prelude to killing and canibalism) is your idea of high culture then you have problems.. g"); document.write("
I thought....
"); document.write("...jumping around, drooling, leering and grunting is what your mum does when shes tryng to make my pen1s hard, not what the ABs do during the Haka
. Toby"); document.write("
Who cares g it has nothing to with anything...
"); document.write("If something should be abolished from rugby it should be South Africa taking part in anymore world cups since clearly they're still racists. Nice job trying to clean things up by hiring that goofy bastard as your coach guys, hopefully he'll stick around so we can kick your asses next year as well. Oliver"); document.write("
