document.write("If you live in NZ dumi (big deal) then you'll know that none of that happened this year.  It was all quite the opposite actually and look what Henry has achieved.  The ABs lost against a good French side (and a very bias ref) last year while SA had an easy route to the final.  Of course they would have lost to NZ if they both met in the final since NZ have proven better than SA in rugby year in year out.  . Oliver");

document.write("As a New Zealander, I agree with Richie. I know that the British unions are second-class this year, but I value the consistency of the All Blacks over any world cup win and most other New Zealanders would feel the same. <br />The New Zealand cricket team (the black caps) always do well in world cups, atleast making the semis, but they are hopelessly inconsistent all the rest of the time - I would rather have the Proteas bad form (relative) in world cups any time, over the black caps' test averages lately.<br />The NZ rugby league team won the RL world cup last weekend at incredible odds because Aussie was the overwhelming favourite. Though we can be called world champs now, it doesn't seem right because Australia still is the better team.<br />My point is that world cups are only a snapshot in time just like seasonal form. People may critise the lack of world cup success for the All Blacks but they always bounce back to a winning culture in  the adjoining years. Look how England have imploded since 2003, 2007 world cups. All Blacks also lost many of the starting 15 after last year - so it shows the depth of talent in NZ.<br />I think South Africans should be proud of the Springboks and their achievements, but we are also proud  of the All Blacks, with or without       <br />a world cup. . Just to refresh your memory, the wallabies have won the world cup twice in the northern hemisphere, and the All Blacks have a near perfect touring record in NH in recent years. <br />Richie McCaw isn't saying that the WC is not important, on the contrary, he is saying that the ABs achieve well outside the WC. They are always favorites based on their achievements.<br />Also, the only NZ coach 'sacked' after a WC was 2003 coach, John Mitchell. Most NZers never want a change of coach, despite the sensationalism. A survey said 60% didn't think Graham Henry should be sacked!<br />It is also deluded if you think that you only have to win a WC to be considered the best for next four years. You have to be able to defend a world champion status, otherwise it doesn't mean anything i.e. England after 2003.. Sherilyn Miller");

John Mitchell had a great record as well and also got the chop. yeah, you lost against a good France's side. Easy route to the finals? The AB's played jokes of rugby teams en route to playing France. The only 'easy team SA played was the USA. We played a very good Fiji team thereafter, and then the same Argies who beat the same France that knocked out the ABs. Oh they would've knocked out the Boks huh? Just like they were supposed to knock out Aussie in '03 right? Oh wait..
