brilliant!!
"); document.write("SA showed brilliant form and apart from perhaps including Prins at the cost of Mckenzie don't change a thing!!JP and Dale you beauts!!!!. joey"); document.write("
Re Kudos SA
"); document.write("SA showed great spirit in executing two vicotories over the worlds best team. Australia is a falling team wihtout McGrath, Gilli and Warne, but despite that New Zealand Lost to them recently and SA came up triumphant. Great Team work and great batting by Duminy and Grame , Duminy a great star for the . Srinivasa Gopal"); document.write("
Improvement
"); document.write("I mean this in all sincerity - the Proteas can get even better; imagine if the top order fires at once and it's not left to the tail to bail them out?! Well done Smith and co., you deserve a few beers.. Sasha"); document.write("
Steyn you legend!!!
"); document.write("I would have given Dale Steyn a 12!! What a legend!. george"); document.write("
Man of the Match
"); document.write("As far as I am concerned JP is the man of the match. If anybody does not see that then really. Are you REALLY telling me his knock didn't save the day, or is it just the colour of his skin?. Robert Sidney"); document.write("
Robert Sidney

Robert Sidney
"); document.write("Steve Stobe is the idiot! I would just point out that JP's performance was phenominal and must have been a close call with Dale Steyn. However Stein's performance with the ball in each innings was equivalent to a batman's ton each time... and he also made a huge contribution as a tail-ender with his 75. I think AB deserved more than a 6 with his fielding and motivation! . Peter"); document.write("
I agree w/ the analysis
"); document.write("i agree with the above 'ratings' with the exception of that of neil mackenzie. i cannot understand what it is about his poor performance which coerces so many sports writers and commentators to persist in saying he must stick around. contrasting his performance with that of JP is eye-widening, and i think the Proteas will be stronger with both JP and Prince batting. neither should be excluded, contrasting Prince's performance to Neil as well.. Proudly SAn"); document.write("
Kallis under-rated
"); document.write("I think you are unfair to rate Kallis a 6 and McKenzie a 7. Jacques did throw his wicket away, but he bowled well with three key tail wickets (let's not forget that Australia's wagging tail nearly cost us in Perth), and he took 4 great slip catches in the match. Meanwhile McKenzie failed in the first innings, was bowled off a no-ball in the second, and dropped Ponting (a mistake that has cost us centuries of runs in previous series too).

Kallis deserved a 7 and McKenzie a 5. Otherwise, the ratings are fair. Although Steyn and Duminy deserve 11/10 for all-time great performances.

Well done South Africa! I have suffered through six previous series losses to Australia and finally get to see the glory! You've made a long-suffering fan very happy, guys.. Michael"); document.write("
SA Team
"); document.write("Definitely Mckenzie must make way for Prince and I still think we neeed a decent spin bowler. Harris simply does not do enough on a consistent basis to sustain his place. . Bester"); document.write("
Proudly SAn
"); document.write("McKenzie's return to form very satisfying. To leave Mckenzie out just to have both Prince and Duminy in the team could work but neither are opener material nor have either of them batted at first drop. Mckenzie's played a lot of his domestic cricket batting at first drop so his technique is suited to opening(a required skill to bat at three is that your technique be as good and as tight as an opener's would be). Both Prince and Duminy are specialist Fives. If you're replacing the guys straight out you make the opening bowlers job that bit easier as they only have to bowl the correct line and length for lefties and not having to deal with the constant change of a right/left combo. Also the batsmen would then have to be of different styles. Smith/Duminy - No; Smith/Prince - Maybe. Prince more likely to look for singles but gets bogged down by a good bowler working on the right length and this causes him at times to play rash shots, Mckenzie doesnt get as hassled as Prince does. Mckenzie also got back into confidence with his shot selection and mindset(Positive defensive aggression, ie. Score quickly if you can when you can as safely as you can with minimal risk), ie Mac was not out form he was trying to hard. Remember great teams are well balanced teams. Our team is very well balanced at the moment. Also note that Prince and Mckenzie are invaluable sounding boards for Smith as both are exceptional leaders.. corniel seddon"); document.write("
