The commentators saw it clearly - even before Hawk Eye showed that they were spot on. These decisions, which could easily be rectified by the third umpire, can actually make the result farcical.  . breeze");

document.write("I agree breeze, but regarding lbw specifically, there isnt technology available to accurately enough (in the opinion of those that make these kinds of decisions).<br /><br />Until then, we have to take the good with the bad. Don't forget that JP Duminy had a let-off when he hadnt scored many. These things do indeed even themselves out. It was the same Hayden that was given out caught and bowled off Steyn (in Perth i think) without the bat anywhere near the ball. It's not a perfect system, but its not that unfair. Like the players, umpires are humans too and make mistakes. Until we have an infallible way of making such decisions, we're stuck with the umps. . JamesCT");

This technology is here and it gives us much more clarity than the poor umpire standing 22 meters back and being highly intimidated by a vociferous appeal (or half-hearted!)
