And if you don't like the way they are going, do something positive about it. But do not whinge about our comparison with overseas countries. You obviously have not been there, and if you were, you must have had your eyes tightly closed.<br />B. Bafana did very well. Much better than the media would want us to believe. They held off the world 's 1st team for 56 minutes. That would have been impossible a very few years ago! Bafana have only done reasonably well against African teams, but for them to show up Spain's European style football and remain positive, agressive and constructive for the entire game was a unexpected pleasure to watch. So they got through to the semis by a fluke. Why not gloat a bit. We all know that they don't stand a chance from here on, but they played well. And went down 2-0 with honour.<br />I don't know about the coach. He does not inspire me a lot. But then I don't play football for him and somebody inspired the team.<br />As for the optimistic supporters: good on them, they were the supporters B Bafana deserved on the night, Brian: they need to be supported! By their fellow South Africans! All the time! So that at next years WORLD CUP we can be proud of them, even if they don't make any semis. Who said that is a must??. Wytze V");

Although we won at rugby the fans are fed up with the way we played. We South Africans like winning. With regards to our soccer their is so much corruption that is why we dont progress. I cannot be proud of a team that has not qualified for the African Cup in Angola, January 2010. South African's  have the attitude that we are unbeatable. We are so lucky that we are not in Group B with the likes of Egypt, Italy and Brazil. I would not be surprised if these groups are also a scam.
