Over the past 10 years I've half heartedly watched some Bafana games, but seldom saw the dedication and excecution we seeing now. I can finally look forward to watchign them play! For years SA soccer players did not view playing for Bafana Bafana as something to be proud of ... or that is what it seemed like from the sidelines. Patriotism is wonderful for nation building and we need that! But they could not care less. Playing in Europe seemed to be the highest accolade. <br />Until recently I could only give my full support to Rugby. Cricket then joined the fray after showing a fighting spirit against the Ausies and now Bafana has done the same. I am proud of them and will support them all the way!. Pieter");

document.write("I agree that the boys really defied expectations with their performance in the competition, particularly against Brazil and Spain. However there are some concerns for me, particularly about the Big Match Temperament of Teko Modise. not once did he produce the sort of performance that creates so much hype around him, and yet the coach stuck with him throughout the tournament. Also, what was the use of having players such as moon, mphela and van heerden in the side if they were not going to get a run, or even worse get a run in the final stages of a game.
