John Smit is a good captain, a respected leader and gentleman and as prominent as he is- seldom party to foul play. So he can be forgiven the lapse of judgment in this article. Bakkies enjoys his foul play - late hits, knees on the neck of prone opponents - elbow in the face and jersey-pulling/posturing- if you really watched rugby over the past three years and you are not biased you would have seen it and should own up to it. Let Bakkies serve his ban which I am sure players and administrators the world over support and should support - and then let us see if Bakkies has the character to play a good honest clean brand of hard but not filthy rugby.
