The Blue Bulls will be sweating over the fitness of world class wing Bryan Habana ahead of their final Currie Cup league encounter, against the Leopards in Phokeng on Friday.
Habana injured his gluteus (buttock) muscle in the Bulls' impressive 61-27 win over Griquas at the weekend.
The full extent of the injury is not yet known.
Bulls team doctor Org Strauss said on Monday that Habana will go for a scan and thereafter a call on his availability for Friday's clash will be made.
Habana's Bok teammates, Fourie du Preez and Bakkies Botha, will join up with the Blue Bulls during the course of the week.
The Bulls' medical report on Monday stated that there is "a good possibility" that they will be fit to play against the Leopards.
The Bulls, who have qualified for the play-offs with the win against Griquas, can no longer secure home ground advantage in the play-offs.
