The Free State Cheetahs will be able to call on the same team that beat the Sharks in the semifinal, when they face the Blue Bulls in the Currie Cup Final in Pretoria on Saturday.

Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske confirmed to iafrica.com that there were "no injuries" from their come-from-behind 23-21 win over the Sharks almost a fortnight ago.

The only frontline player absent will be Springbok flank Juan Smith - who has missed the entire season, after being ruled out till next year, with a knee injury. Smith, who also missed the Boks' final Tri-Nations Test against New Zealand in Wellington last month with a lower back/hamstring injury, suffered a freak accident while taking a break on his farm.

The news was not so positive for the Bulls, who had hoped to have Springbok hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle back for the Final.

Ralepelle has been withdrawn from the Bulls team for Saturday's big showdown at Loftus Versfeld, after he failed a fitness test late on Monday.

The No.2 suffered a hairline fracture on one of the small bones in his right foot last month and the Bulls held out some hope that three weeks in an oxygen tank would have speeded up his recovery.

However, within minutes of his fitness test starting Ralepelle broke down again.

Bulls coach Frans Ludeke told the media that it is "a pity" for the Bok hooker, as it was another opportunity for him to be involved in another great Final.

Emerging Springbok Bandise Maku will again provide cover on the Bulls bench.

Derick Kuun remains the preferred hooker in the starting XV.

The Cheetahs, in the absence of Smith, have relied on the very effective loose trio of Heinrich Brussow, Ashley Johnson (at No.8) and Frans Viljoen. They are keeping two Springboks - Hendro Scholtz and Lukas Floors - on the bench.
