Wallaby coach Robbie Deans is concerned about the quality of his team's set pieces, on the eve of their grand slam campaign, but he still feels it will be "a ripper" of a contest when Australia face England at Twickenham on Saturday.

The Aussies will also face Ireland, Scotland and Wales as they chase their first grand slam over the Home Unions since 1984.

Speaking after his team's comprehensive 36-5 win over English Premiership outfit Gloucester, at Kingsholm on Tuesday, Deans said the focus will now shift to the Twickenham showdown on Saturday.

"We will push on with our Test preparations now," Deans told a media gathering, adding: "Saturday's game is going to be a ripper."

Deans admitted that the Wallabies must improve their line-outs or face dire consequences against England in the Cook Cup Test.

The set piece was highly erratic in the 32-19 Bledisloe Cup defeat by New Zealand in Tokyo on Saturday, the Wallabies losing several of their own throws to repeatedly squander attacking opportunities.

And the line-out was also a major cause for concern in the win over the Guinness Premiership strugglers, Gloucester, on Tuesday.

Deans was quite frank about the issue, even though he appeared to be unable to provide reasons for the line-out meltdowns.

"Whatever it is, it's not good enough," Deans said, when quizzed about it after the Kingsholm win.

"It is one area where we will need to be better, particularly up against a side that does play a territorial game and who have a player like [Jonny] Wilkinson who likes to kick them around the ground.

"So that will be a priority."

Deans admitted that there was plenty of value in Tuesday's Dirt Trackers outing, saying he would like to see more of those on future tours.

The Wallabies will also play the Cardiff Blues on November 24.

"We would love to do it again - the blokes really enjoyed it," Deans said about the Gloucester outing.

"It was great for us to have the opportunity of rugby outside of a Test match.

"Gloucester played with a lot of spirit and asked quite a bit of our guys, but we finished strongly."
