Blue Bulls hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle is going for a foot operation on Tuesday and team doctor Org Strauss estimates that the injury-prone Springbok will be on the sidelines for at least three months.

Ralepelle injured his foot earlier this year while he was with the Boks but the injury reoccurred in the second round of the Currie Cup and on the end of the year tour it was evident that the stress fracture hasn't healed completely.

Dr Fief Ferreira is therefore going to insert a screw in his foot and this will ensure that he will be able to make a full recovery.

Meanwhile, the Bulls reassembled at Loftus Versfeld on Monday to start their preparation for 2010’s Super 14 tournament and apart from Ralepelle’s stress fracture there aren't any other injury concerns in the camp.

The Bulls are going to train in Pretoria until Friday December, 4 and thereafter they will depart for George for their annual summer camp.
