Sharks coach John Plumtree has rotated his front row for Saturday's Super 14 encounter with the Brumbies in Durban.

Bismarck du Plessis and "Beast" Mtawarira have swapped places with John Smit and Deon Carstens in the front row while scrumhalf Charl McLeod is the only new face from last week's line-up that beat the Force.

McLeod, having enjoyed some outstanding form in the Vodacom Cup for The Sharks XV replaces Ross Cronje, last year’s successful Sharks Under-19 captain on the bench.

This weekend sees the Sharks back at the Absa Stadium Durban, playing only their second game in front of their home crowd this season and a good turnout is expected with the second-placed Sharks taking on the Brumbies who slipped to ninth place on the log following their 17-25 defeat by the Lions last weekend.

Plumtree says playing in front of their fans will be a major boost for the Durban outfit.

"We are pleased to be home. We haven't been at home for a long time. I think playing in front of family and fans at home will be a boost for the team ," Plumtree told this website in the build up to the clash.

"You probably get 10 percent more energy when you play in front of your fans and you can't take that for granted.

"We've got a lot of respect for the Brumbies. They have the ability to maintain possession and defensively they are very direct. We will have to work hard [on Saturday]."
