Kaizer Chiefs hitman Tshepo Bulu has vowed to cement a place in Vladimir Vermezovic's starting line-up.

The 25-year-old currently faces stiff competition from Nkosinathi Nhleko, Knowledge Musona, Kaizer Motaung Jnr and Jose Torrealba for a first-team place, but the Soweto-born player is determined to prove his worth.

He told the club's official website: "I told myself when I joined the team for preseason that I need to work harder to make more appearances for the team this season.

"I think we did well as the team during preseason games where we won two tournaments but I was not satisfied with the way I played.

"I believe I can offer more to the team. I am going to continue working hard at training to make my dream of representing this club a reality."

The striker went on to heap praise on the club's Serbian-born mentor and said that he was willing to play wherever the boss required him to.

He continued: "He wants us to work very hard. We understand him now as the team in terms of his expectations and his philosophy. He used me more on the right wing during the preseason.

"I will play where ever he wants me to play including up front where I have played most of my football."
