Bloemfontein Celtic maintained their unbeaten record in the Premiership when they edged out struggling Platinum Stars 2-1 at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Stadium on Saturday night.

Stars once again Stars failed to finish off their opponents after going into the lead minutes before the interval when Tsheop Ramokala netted in the 44th minute.

But Celtic fought back and levelled the match when Prince Olomu heded home a Cecil Oerson cross in the 50th minute.

Stars Alton Meiring missed a sitter in the 55th minute and paid the penalty when Thabo Nthethe thumped home the winner for Celtic in the 72nd after another pin point Oerson cross.
