United out to dim Stars

Maritzburg United will look to get back to winning ways when they host Free State Stars in an Absa Premiership clash at the Woodburn Stadium on Saturday evening (kick-off 8pm).
United, after winning their last league game 1-0 over Mpumalanga Black Aces, will try to keep their momentum going against a rather stuttering Free State side.
The 'Team of Choice' have played their last two league games at home and have managed a draw and a win which has seen them move up to 11th place on the log with 14 points. Now with another game at home in front of their fans they will be confident of victory.
Stars, on the other hand, have struggled to register a win and have only won one match thus far. Consequently that sees the 'Ea Lla Koto' placed second from bottom on the league table with only 11 points.
Although Free State have been poor this season, their away record has not been that bad. On the road they have not lost a match, or for that fact won a game, having drawn all six of their away games. Their three loses for the season have come at home, so they will be more than glad to play at the Woodburn Stadium.
"We are aware that they are a dangerous team and will pose a few problems. But we are ready and aware only a win will keep our fans happy and more importantly restart our climb up the log," Brand Manager Younus Kadodia told the club's official website.
The two teams have only ever faced each other four times in official league action. Of those games, all have ended in a draw.
Last season?s fixtures saw the sides play to a 1-1 draw in both league meetings. Stars have, however, managed a victory over United defeating them 2-0 in the first round of the Telkom Knockout last season.
