Stars were last in the Cape for a Telkom Knockout last 16 encounter, which they won 0-1 and the current Premiership log leaders Ajax are keen on revenge.

'Ea Lla Koto' have been a revelation since returning to the Premiership and they will no doubt want to get back to winning ways after they lost 0-1 to Kaizer Chiefs. In former Ajax star Duncan Lechesa, Stars have a player that understands the 'Urban Warriors' pattern of play and he will once again be the key player for the visitors.

However, the home team will do all in their power to stop Stars in their tracks. Their recent performance against BidVest Wits showed that the 'Urban Warriors' are able to score from all areas of the field.

Another worrying factor for the visitors is that Ajax had four different players on the score-sheet in the 5-2 win over Wits, cementing the fact that the 'Urban Warriors' does have the firepower to compete against the best.

Ajax coach Craig Rosslee told ajaxct.com that they are not reading too much into the fact that they are top of the log standings.

"Its still early days but the statistics show that we have scored the most and conceded the least goals setting a perfect foundation to build on for a successful league campaign.

"We are on a high after picking up three points against Wits on Wednesday, however I need to ensure that my players do not lose focus," he continued, "a home win will guarantee that we have a healthy points cushion ahead of our hectic December schedule of five games in 20 days."

He added: "Training has gone well and all the players are available for selection. It was good to see goalkeeper Morgan Cathey make his debut in an Ajax shirt and Nazier Allie is back at training. Allie played an important role in our cup success last season and his return to training could not have come at a better time."
