The 'Urban Warriors' came through a difficult away match against Black Leopards on Saturday, coming from behind to win 2-1 thanks to Nathan Paulse's double.

That result, in conjunction with BidVest Wits' 2-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates, saw Ajax move clear at the head of the Absa Premiership.

But with SuperSport United just two points behind, Craig Rosslee's (pictured) team cannot afford to slip up at home to Thanda Royal Zulu, a team they defeated 2-1 earlier in the season thanks to Thembinkosi 'Tera' Fanteni.

'Tera' has since departed for Israel, but home advantage and the lure of a first top-flight championship will spur Ajax's youngsters on to the point that they will start this match as strong favourites.

Thanda fell to a defeat at the hands of SuperSport at the weekend, but their 1-0 win away to Kaizer Chiefs last week is a sign that Ajax should not take them lightly, despite the 12 places and 13 points separating the two sides.

Roger Pamlgren's team have had an inconsistent season up to this point, but three wins in their last five games is a sign that they have well and truly moved on from the dire form they showed at the start of the season.

Nonetheless, the Urban Warriors will be confident of completing a league 'double' over 'Amabhubesi'.
