The home side went down 1-3 to SuperSport United in league action during the week and are currently second from bottom in the PSL standings, with just four wins from 16 matches.
Ajax, on the other hand, are flying high at the top of the table, after beating Bloemfontein Celtic 3-1 in Cape Town on Wednesday night.
The Cape side came out tops against Leopards earlier in the 2007/08 season, winning by a solitary goal, but the long journey to Thohoyandou will surely test the resilience of coach Craig Rosslee's (pictured) young team.
Rosslee, however, will be encouraged by his team's midweek performance. New recruit Dipsey Selolwane, who scored on debut for the 'Urban Warriors', was particularly impressive.
The coach will also be happy with the progress of Nazeer Allie and Franklin Cale; two key players who could be in the starting line-up for Saturday's match, following their return from injury.
It was evident that the 'Urban Warriors' ran out of steam in the second half against Celtic, and Rosslee was not pleased.
"We started the Celtic game well, but I am not happy with our performance in the second half. We will work on this and look to maintain our work-rate throughout the game," said the Ajax coach.
Meanwhile, 'Lidoda Duvha' coach Boebie Solomons will be hoping that the more familiar surroundings of the Thohoyandou Stadium will motivate his team to challenge Ajax for the three points on offer as they seek to turn around their dismal season.

Got something to say?
