Stars have struggled since the departure of coach Owen da Gama to join Soweto giants Orlando Pirates, but current co-coaches Thierry Mulonzo and Allan Freese will be hoping for a change of fortune against the high-flying 'Urban Warriors'.

They come into this encounter depleted after they were outshone 1-3 by Free State Stars in Bethlehem last Sunday, while the young Ajax brigade stole a point away at AmaZulu courtesy of a solitary goal from Israel-bound goal-poacher Thembinkosi 'Tera' Fanteni.

Ajax will be able to call upon star men 'Tera', Bryce 'Scooter' Moon, Clifford Ngobeni, Mfundo Shumana and Brett Evans, all of whom are in Bafana Bafana contention for next year's Afcon, whilst the Capetonians can also welcome back one of last season's Absa Cup stalwarts, Nazier Allie, who returns from injury.

Craig Rosslee, the Ajax CT head coach, told the club website that his charges were looking forward to Sunday's clash.

"It won't be an easy game, however, our Bafana contingent is back and their presence will certainly boost the team," said Rosslee.

"We have a number of players fighting for a place in the starting line-up. Clifford [Ngobeni] and Nazier [Allie] are available for selection and their inclusion in the squad improves our strength in depth."
