Ajax Cape Town coach Muhsin Ertugral believes Kaizer Chiefs striker Kaizer Motaung Junior should face sanction for his inflammatory goal celebration at Newlands on Sunday.

Motaung Jr struck with a well-taken 20-yard volley after 28 minutes to put the Soweto side ahead and could not resist the temptation of making an insulting hand gesture in the direction of his former boss Ertugral.

The player and the coach had a tense relationship at Naturena and fell out with one another on a few occasions.

And on the weekend the Turkish mentor had to watch on as a rampant 'Amakhosi' ripped Ajax apart, with Motaung Jnr, the son of club chairman Kaizer Motaung, adding salt to his wounds.

"I personally feel a bit humiliated. The issue with Kaizer Jnr got under my skin. It's not on and I feel the player needs to be punished," said Ertugral, before adding that he had "gone with his emotions" after the incident.

On the game itself, Ertugral conceded that Chiefs were the better side on the day, saying the 'Urban Warriors' had lost against "a very skilful team, the biggest in the country".

He also lamented the busy fixture schedule, as well as Ajax's absentee list, which includes injured players and five players on duty at the Under-20 World Cup.

"We have had 15 or 16 players to chose from and we have had to play four games in 10 days," he concluded.
