AmaZulu coach Neil Tovey admitted in an interview with Football365.co.za that the team's 4-2 loss to SuperSport United has put more pressure on the technical team.
The KwaZulu-Natal team is now in 15th place at the halfway mark, three points ahead of basement side, Jomo Cosmos.
However, the former Bafana Bafana captain expresses confidence that things will fall into place for his team.
"Well, we are always under pressure to get results but like I always say we will keep on trying. We still have 15 matches left to play and we will see what will happen," Tovey told this website.
Tovey was at pains to explain his team's downfall at Loftus. "In 10 minutes we conceded two goals from a dead ball situation and we knew they are very strong at it and just after half time we conceded two goals when we were trying to come back to the game," he said.
"When we conceded two more goals, we were trying to fight our back into the game, but we let ourselves down a bit. But I thought that once they took out Thandani Ntshumaelo, we were a lot more organized in midfield, but since we were already 4-0 down, we knew that it was always going to be tough playing SuperSport away from home. But we will keep trying our best and hopefully we will come right," he said.
