Sameehg Doutie has set his sight on making it into the 2010 Bafana Bafana squad after coach Carlos Alberto Parreira called three Under-20 players for the friendlies against Japan and Jamaica.

The 20-year-old has been in fine form for Ajax Cape Town starting eight matches and coming on as a substitute twice.

He told Football365.co.za: "My goal is to win the league with Ajax Cape Town and hopefully be in the 2010 World Cup squad.

"I think it's good that Carlos Parreira is back. As you can see there are youngsters in the squad, that's a bright future especially for us. Who knows we might be next.

"But as you can see we are second on the log and SuperSport (United) is first but there are no players from our squad being called up that's the downfall."

The 'Urban Warriors' have been in fine form especially on the road with only one defeat that came against Orlando Pirates, but Doutie still believes they have what it takes to lift the title.

He said: "I think we will do well, because we have a big squad. Everyone is doing their part, if one player is injured there is another player who can come in and fit into his space so I don't think we are going to have a problem. We have been working hard, the results have to pay in at the end of the day.

"We are second in the log behind the leaders SuperSport. We just need to keep going and stay there in the top two. Who knows we might finish at the top of the log at the end of the season."

The side has had three coaches in 16 matches, first it was Muhsin Ertugral and than Jan Pruijn and now they are led by Foppe de Haan. Doutie believes they still need to do their job no matter who is in charge.

"It hasn't affected the players. We have to adjust to what the new coach always wants. It has been difficult, but that is part of football you got to keep going. It is like your job if another new boss comes in you just have to do your job all the time," he concluded.
