Orlando Pirates coach Ruud Krol has fired a broadside at Carlos Alberto Parreira over the condition of his Bafana Bafana players.
The Dutch-playing legend believes his South Africa international charges - who were recently on a national training camp - battled with fatigue in Wednesday's goalless draw with leaders SuperSport United on Wednesday.
"The players who came back from the camp last Thursday were flat and it was a big problem for me against SuperSport," Krol told SAPA.
"My national team players were not in good shape when they returned. They were not fresh.
"I heard they did a lot of physical training, but there has been no communication from the national coach. I expected a report but received nothing. It is disturbing."
The 60-year-old's criticism comes hot on the heels of Moroka Swallows mentor Rainer Zobel who felt it was ridiculous that the local league was severely shortened to accommodate South Africa's World Cup preparations.
Krol has also been backed up by 'Matsatsantsa' coach Gavin Hunt who also complained that his Bafana players were fatigued.
