South Africa retained their 66th position in the latest FIFA/Coca Cola world rankings which was released by the world football governing body on Wednesday.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup hosts also remained 12th in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) ranking list.

Meanwhile, world champions Spain and African champions Egypt kept their pole positions in the world rankings CAF ranking lists respectively.

In fact there was no change in the top 10 of both the world and African rankings as most countries were inactive following the successful World Cup in South Africa recently.
