Bloemfontein Celtic coach Owen da Gama says he won't hit panic stations despite his side's second consecutive defeat.
'Phunya Sele Sele' went nine games undefeated before they suffered their first loss of the PSL season to Ajax at the weekend before succumbing to Sundowns on Wednesday evening.
Goals by Mabhuti Khenyeza and Felix Katongo gave the Brazilians the three points and has seen the Free State outfit slip to sixth in the standings.
"I was very disappointed in our first-half showing, but we came back in the second-half and the guys did very well, but at the end of the day we could have had a better outcome," he told Football365.co.za.
"I think the season is a marathon not a sprint and every team is going to have their hiccups, we are a relatively new team and we are going to have our hiccups as the season progresses. "
The former Orlando Pirates boss pointed out that there are several members of his side that aren't pulling their weight.
"At the moment there are five of six players that are not on top of their game which is affecting the team tremendously. At times players are behaving as if we have won the league you know," he said
"We won't rest on out laurels because of the good start we have had to the season, but we are not panicking either."
The league is open, no one is guaranteed any wins here, no one gave us a chance when we played Santos and we beat them away from home.
"It just shows that it depends on who is best prepared for the game on the day," he concluded.
