Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder Prince Olomu is on the brink of securing a deal with Israeli outfit Maccabi Haifa.
The 23-year-old has showed some impressive form this season for Phunya Sele Sele having netted 12 times already this season and is currently second on the PSL scoring charts.
If the Nigerian's move to the Tel Aviv side is successful he could link up with Bafana Bafana defender Tsepo Masilela.
"We have always known that it is Prince's dream to go overseas and we understand that it is a great opportunity for him," technical team director Mitch D'Avray told the Sowetan.
"Obviously, if it does not happen for him we will expect him back here to play out the rest of the season.
"But if there is any interest, the team will contact us to begin negotiations."
However, Celtic boss Owen da Gama expressed his disappointemt at possibly losing the services of the former Free State Stars man.
"He is our top goalscorer, so it is very difficult to lose a player of his calibre. I was hoping to hold on to him until next season at least," he concluded.
