Mpumalanga Black Aces have acquired the services of Aiki Ayiomamitis as their new head coach after they axed Sammy Troughton as a result of a "business decision."
The mentor is returning for his second spell with the outfit and he has also held the reigns at Bloemfontein Celtic, when they were in the First Division.
Aces spokesperson Thabo Moroape confirmed the news to Football365.co.za.
"Yes he (Ayiomamitis) is the new Aces head coach. He is already in the country and he will be conducting this afternoon's training session," Moroape said.
Ayiomamitis' first match in charge will be against Mamelodi Sundowns and if everything goes according to plan he will oversee the game from the bench.
"I will be working on that (sorting his paperwork) this afternoon. When we play Sundowns we might have him on the bench. It will all depend on the paperwork at home affairs."
