Mpumalanga Black Aces will have a tough task on their hands this weekend when they host defending league champions SuperSport United at the Puma Rugby stadium on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3.30pm).

Aces will be more than glad to be back at home considering they have not clinched a single point on the road the entire season. Their home form has been quite good for a newly promoted side, with nine points from five games. They are also yet to lose a game at home.

That will be a tough record to keep come Saturday as SuperSport will be aiming to walk away with all three points. Gavin Hunt?s men have gone unbeaten in their last five league outings, picking up 11 points. In their most recent match they were very disappointed to play to a 1-1 draw with Golden Arrows.

In Aces' last league match they went down 1-0 to Santos in a tightly contested battle. They will definitely be looking to get ?back on the horse? on Saturday.

Presently eight places and seven points separate these two sides on the league table. United are in fourth position on 16 points, whereas Aces occupy 12th spot with nine points.

The two teams have only faced each other 12 times in official league fixtures. Of those matches, SuperSport have only ever won one match. Aces have walked away victorious on seven occasions.

However, the last time the two teams met was way back in the 1996/97 season. On that day SuperSport walked away 4-0 winners, claiming their only win against Aces.
