Reneilwe Letsholonyane is relishing the chance of playing for Bafana Bafana in the two upcoming friendlies against Japan and Jamaica.

The Kaizer Chiefs midfielder made the cut after some good showings for his club side that included three goals in the last seven matches.

He told the club's official website: "I appreciate the opportunity that I have been given by Bafana Bafana technical team to be in the national team. It is a great feeling indeed. We are all looking forward to the next two games against Japan and Jamaica. They will be both tough but we are playing at home which is an advantage for us."

'Yeye' orchestrated Chiefs' win against Free State Stars but refused to take all the credit.

"We are one family at Chiefs which has really helped us to stand together throughout thick and thin. On Saturday we followed the coach's instructions. He always encourages us to keep the ball on the ground and play to our strengths and we did exactly that. The game itself was tough as Free State Stars are never pushovers...we are all happy with the result," he said.

Letsholonyane last featured for Bafana in their 1-0 win over Madagascar.

"I have put lot of effort in improving all aspects of my game in the past couple of months and this is now paying off. I always believe that if you have a support of your colleagues, technical team together with the Management everything is possible in football.

"I thank them once more for their support, we have all been working hard because we know there is nothing that beats hard work."
