Knowledge Musona believes Kaizer Chiefs has what it takes to win the league this season, after enduring a bad start of their campaign.

The 19-year-old has turned heads this season with some sparkling displays as he has netted two goals in three starts and seems to be improving with every game he plays.

He told the Sowetan: "I would like to win the league championship in my first season with the club and I think there is a 100% possibility of us achieving this feat. It is not only the league we are targeting, but also cup competitions.

"We are working hard at training to prepare for each match and everybody is keen to ensure the success of this team."

Musona helped his side beat Free State Stars 1-0 with a clever chip to Nkosinathi Nhleko who netted the winner.

He said: "My stay at the club so far has been fine since I have adapted well to how things are done here. I have also found the standard of the league very high, but it has also not been that tough.

"I would like to score a lot of goals, but if you talk before the actual match itself it becomes very difficult to perform. As it is we already have the difficult task of other teams doubling their efforts every time they play against us."
