Kaizer Chiefs striker Knowledge Musona is itching for the PSL to resume having recovered from the knee injury he sustained at the end of November.

The Zimbabwean picked up the knock in a clash with league leaders SuperSport United and missed all of Chiefs' subsequent fixtures heading into the festive break - much to his obvious disappointment at the time.

"I am back now," he told the 'Amakhosi's official website.

"It is always frustrating when you cannot play because of an injury but one thing that put a smile on my face was that my teammates were doing very well.

"We won four out of six games in December. We are now left with six games and we will see what will happen. The fans expect us to win every game and we have to continue giving our best."

The 19-year-old was in superb form before the injury prompting his nomination for the Jet Rookie of the Month award.

"It is always nice when you get nominated for an award but for me it is all about the team. I am focusing on returning back to the team when we play Moroka Swallows (on 3 February)," he added.
