Having recorded their first win in the league, Moroka Swallows are aiming to make it two in a row when they host Santos on Sunday.
The 'Birds' will face the Cape Town side, who are second in the league and have been in fine form. But defender Vincent Kobola revealed his side are confident going into the clash.
Kobola told the official Swallows website: "Everything's going well at training this week, and we are looking forward to our match against Santos.
"Morale in the squad is very high, everyone is intensely focused and committed to winning the Santos meet. We are playing at our new home ground, Dobsonville."
Swallows go into the match on the back of a 1-0 win against Free State Stars. The left-back admitted the game was a hard one but the club was happy they ended their losing streak.
"Our last match against Free State Stars was a difficult game for us from a psychological point of view. We went into the game fully aware that we were under pressure because we were in the bottom three on the log and we desperately needed to give hope back to our supporters.
"It also creates a negative frame of mind for us the players to feel ourselves to be on a 'losing streak'. Fortunately we managed to pull together as a team like we had been working on in our training sessions, and we walked away with a win," he concluded.

Got something to say?
